We know you're eager to get your hands on your new Roadskin® gear and hit the road, so we've made shipping as straightforward as possible.
For international orders, we offer a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) service, this service is available for shipments to Canada, the USA and the EU.
If DDP is available for your delivery location, you'll see all duties, taxes, and import charges calculated and included in your order total at checkout. This means you won't have any nasty surprises or unexpected fees when your order arrives. Local customs may still require additional information from you to clear your package. If they get in touch with you, it's essential to provide what they need as soon as possible to avoid delays in your gear's delivery.
The best part? Once you've paid at checkout, there are no additional charges when your order is delivered. If a courier ever asks you for a payment, please contact us immediately – we shall investigate it as a matter of urgency.
One important thing to remember: if you need to return an order, we are unable to recover international duties, taxes, or import charges, therefore we cannot refund those costs to you. We shall be happy to provide proof that a return has been made, to assist in making a claim for a refund of the charges yourself, with your local customs office.
Most returns are due to sizing
Remember that all Roadskin® gear is TRUE TO SIZE, and you must not rely on fashion labels and fashion sizing, as these tend to flatter you. Please ensure that you refer to our sizing guides and videos before making your purchase. This will help to prevent returns due to ordering the wrong size which in turn may add further costs to you for shipping and potential duties. Refused or Undelivered Parcels
We understand that it is not always possible to be at home to receive your delivery. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with the tracking details. Please follow the tracking. If there is a problem with delivery, this will show on the tracking and it will either be automatically delivered the next working day, or it will be held in a local depot until you make contact to re-arrange delivery or arrange to collect.
If you choose to refuse delivery of your parcel; or in the case of the failed delivery, do not re-arrange delivery or collect from your local depot; or if DDP is not available for your location, and it is returned to us because customs charges have not been paid, the shipping company will return the parcel at our expense.
In these cases, once the item arrives back with us, we will issue a refund for the goods with a deduction for the return postage costs charged to us by the courier. Please note that original delivery costs charged at the time of ordering cannot be refunded.
Returns
We hope that you are delighted with your purchase from Roadskin®. However, we understand that sometimes the fit might not be quite right, and you need to return your item for a refund.
For customers outside the UK, kindly contact our customer service team at contact@roadskin.co.uk with your name and order number. We shall initiate the returns process for you and send you a returns form along with details of where to send your item.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND THE ITEM DIRECTLY BACK TO OUR WAREHOUSE IN THE UK.
“Why don’t you just send the returns form with the order?” This is because your order was sent out from our warehouse in the UK, but we have organised for our customers in the EU and the USA to return items to an address within those regions. By knowing in advance that you are returning an order, we can track the process to ensure a smooth and efficient service to you. Please note that the customer is responsible for any return shipping costs.
Exchanges
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer exchanges to overseas customers. Should you require a different size, please follow the returns procedure above to receive a refund and re-order the correct size from the website. We strongly recommend that you follow our size-guide video before ordering.
Damaged or Lost Parcels
If your parcel is delayed, lost, or damaged in transit, please contact us and we will assist you in resolving the issue with the courier.
My location is not listed as a shipping destination
If you would like an order delivering to a country that isn’t listed as a shipping destination on our website, please contact us at contact@roadskin.co.uk and we shall be happy to obtain an individual shipping quotation from our courier for you.
