Boasting a AAA safety rating, Roadskin's Taranis Elite ladies motorcycling jeans in black are a premier single-layer motorcycle jean, rigorously tested by SATRA Technology Centre in the UK.

Weaved with protective Kevlar® fibers and premium denim for maximum appearance and security, our Taranis Elite women's motorcycle jeans provides the utmost protective rating offered on the market. Additionally, the jeans are designed with a perfect amount of elastane for optimal stretch and a higher rear waistband for draft-free and discreet riding. Cut with a slim to straight leg in black denim, the stylish and lightweight triple-stitched Taranis Elite ladies jeans will take you anywhere you want to go – they’re smart enough for work, tough enough to protect your skin and stylish enough for the bar. The slightly outward tapered cut at the bottom of the leg has been designed so that they will fit comfortably over your motorcycle boots.

Our ladies motorcycle jeans are also lined with a special soft-feel mesh that not only helps keep you cool in summer months but more importantly protects your skin from tearing during the initial impact if you are involved in an accident.

I love, love, love these jeans. Yes they're expensive but being AAA rated, they're worth it. They are really comfortable to wear while on the bike, and walking around. They're the first biker jeans I've had, where the knee protectors are in the right place.

I really struggled to find any trouser riding gear for my size. I'm an 18 in normal jeans. I looked at reviews for this company and it seemed like people loved the fit. I like high waisted jeans and every other company I tried on was low waisted. This one was truly amazing, not only did they fit (all be it tight to start with, but they are new), but they were higher waisted, the knee pads have two sizes so I could put them at the height I needed. I love that they are AAA rated, they really do feel good quality and safe. I ordered a size 20 because I knew they would be tight with all the padding. I'm excited to wear them when riding season starts. Only thing I would say is I would like a slimmer end, skinny jean type, for me the bottom is quite wide but I will tuck them in my boots. Really nicely packaged too and good instructions for looking after them. Will definitely order from them again :-)

Another amazing pair of jeans from Roadskin. The fit is true to size for 18 and nice stretch for that give. Swapped for size 16 which, I would say are largely true to size only observation is they are a bit larger for me at the waist ( works for me as when seated it’s comfy ) also are a little too snug around the knee area, once the armour is in. ( compared to other sizes I have had and ridden in which, seem to have a bit more width ) I’m hoping there’s a bit of give once Ive worn them a bit as I don’t like my armour tight to my knee joints. I love the high waist on this style they pull on and on and on. Don’t panic if you initially pull them on and think they will be too long. they keep pulling up and up. I would say leg length is accurate too. Really soft feeling not that hard denim touch and stretch is nice. Feel such great quality and look and style very attractive. Not a deep black colour but very dark grey /black colour so really nice. I’ve been able to use other pairs as a back up pair of jeans when touring just remove the hip and knees pads. They might be a bit too hot for walking around in 30 degrees but are great if you get a cold or rainy spell. Armour is lightweight and soft and does tend to mould nicely. I can’t fault them hence back for a third pair for the price, quality and fit let alone the safety features they are worth every penny.

I don’t ride, but my husband has 3 bikes, so as a pillion rider, I wanted something comfortable, look good and that I could wear without having to get changed every time we stopped somewhere! Ordered wrong length jeans and reordered shorter length ones which arrived in a jiffy. Still too long so had conversation on telephone, nothing too much trouble even sent out a prepaid returns label whilst already sending shorter ones the same day. Ok so I have a love- hate with my riding jeans. I usually size up as with other brands they seem to cut the jean outer material to the right size and then line them on the interior so you lose a half/full size. I sized up with these and would say they are maybe ok to get the right size initially. Wow the difference in cut though ladies is incredible. I opened the packet and same the small front zip and groaned I am definitely a high waisted girl and the hip huggers don’t do it for me as half my butt hangs out of the back of these. In for a penny in for a pound I slid the jeans on, and on and on. Right this is different, wait where is the crotch? Looking at the zip placement and the crotch I’m thinking omg I’m going to look like a rapper with half my butt hanging out at the back and the crotch around my knees this is not going to be comfy to ride in bah!!! Oh me of little faith…. A few seconds later and these jeans slid up and up and on. OMG these are really high on the waist and the crotch sits perfectly well… where it should be no requirement to learn all the latest rapper tunes. That’s a good thing for the world at large my singing voice being what it is. 🫣. So I prance about the living room in my new best friends the jeans of joy !! No cold kidneys, no uncomfy waist band no loss of circulation around my hips and definitely no flashing butt!! Another good thing for the world, being mooned by a Middle Aged woman as she hops on and off the bike. Girls/ladies/women and anyone else who has a preference for high waisted jeans that are comfy and fit and you don’t want to feel you have compromised in any direction- these are elite. The armour is comfy and as always a wriggle to get in the pockets. The pros are huge. The length runs a little long and I have a long inside leg. I got regular and these are perfect for me. I reckon the long ones would have been too long. These are lighter than both of my other pairs of riding jeans and with higher safety ratings- this was the main reason I bought them. I would recommend in a heart beat. Ok any cons hmm.. the colour is not black it’s more dark grey/ black. There is very little stretch which, might have been nice to have just a bit more comfort around waist hips, knees helpful when your figure doesn’t quite fit the cut completely. They look and feel good guys so if you are a curvy body type don’t be scared to try these out. I’ll let you know how they do on my next trip out which, is 2000 miles of variable temperatures so far however very , very impressed. !! Oh and the added bonus of buying from a family business in the UK should not be overlooked.. the price point competative too. Awesome!!
