Paranoid X - AAA-rated armoured motorcycle jeans

Introducing our newly upgraded Paranoid AAA-rated protective motorcycle jeans, meticulously re-designed to offer even more advanced protection without compromising on our class-leading comfort.

The team at Roadskin wanted to produce a hybrid of our best-selling armoured motorcycle jeans that offer maximum protection but should not compromise comfort. So we worked to deliver a unique combination of materials that creates a pair of motorcycle jeans that are incredibly strong, resilient, and remarkably comfortable.

Please watch our sizing video at the bottom of this page to ensure you order the correct waist size, especially if you are ordering from the USA/CAN as sizing criteria differs slightly. The required inside leg length is measured at the point where the jeans meet the crotch, down to the ankle seam.

Double-layer, but with the comfort of single-layer motorcycle jeans

These state-of-the-art jeans feature a cutting-edge double-layer construction, meticulously engineered to provide the ultimate level of protection and comfort to the wearer. The outer layer of the jeans is crafted with a durable and high-performance Kevlar mix with added stretch. The jeans also come with Level 2 knee and hip armour as standard.

Meanwhile, the inner layer is fully lined with a top-of-the-line Black Kevlar material, ensuring that every inch of these jeans is reinforced for maximum safety and peace of mind. The weight of the jeans is, of course, heavier than our class-leading Taranis Elite single-layer jeans, but our designers have managed only to increase it by 25% - imagine a premium pair of day-to-day jeans but with a couple of extra pounds on top.

These premium jeans are a must-have for any serious motorcycle enthusiast. Ideally suited for winter riding and adventure touring in colder weather, they provide the ideal balance of warmth, protection, and style.

So, gear up and embrace the road confidently, knowing that you're equipped with the epitome of safety and comfort - our upgraded Paranoid X AAA-rated protective jeans.

Armour

Important information regarding motorcycle jean armour

It is very important to wear the armour provided with these motorcycle jeans, not just to help protect your bones but also to reduce the impact of the bone against the fabric in the key areas. The fabric is not designed to withstand impact injury, in the key areas, without armour.

Numbers That Mislead

Have you ever wondered why you’re a size 38 in one brand, a 36 in another, and then somehow a 39 elsewhere? It’s frustrating, right? Those numbers are supposed to represent accurate measurements but often don’t add up.

Committed to Perfect Sizing

At Roadskin®, we believe in keeping it real. When we say a pair of our jeans has a 36-inch waist, it measures 36 inches around the waist—no sneaky surprises. If the inseam says 30 inches, you can bet it’s 30 inches long. Actual numbers. Actual measurements.

Production Variability

That said, denim can be a tricky beast. Different washes and how our protection layers interact during production can slightly affect sizing. We do everything possible to keep those variances small, but no one's perfect! Even with our commitment to accuracy, mistakes happen. We're only human. Mislabelling or production hiccups can sneak in occasionally. If that happens, shout. We’ll do whatever it takes to ensure you have the correct size and fit.

Finding Your Size - The Right Way to Do It

The best way to determine your correct Roadskin® Motorcycle Jean size is to grab and measure a pair of jeans you love. Yes, it takes a moment, but it’ll save you a lot of hassle later.

Waist Measurements

Lay your jeans flat and pull the waistband out tight (but not stretched beyond its natural limit if there’s any give). Measure from one side of the inside waistband to the other, then double that number. Boom—that’s your waist size.

Inseam Measurements

Lay one leg flat and straight. Measure from the cuff edge up the inseam to where it meets the crotch seam. Remember to follow the seam curve to get the most accurate measurement.

Take the time to measure once, and ride in comfort forever. Got questions? Reach out—we’re here to help.

Industry Reviews of Roadskin Paranoid X Motorcycle Jeans

Tested by: John Milbank of Bennetts Bike Social over 4 months

"Companies like Roadskin have proven that comfort, fit and style do not have to be compromised in order to achieve provably impressive levels of protection. Quality design and material technology like this is how you and I will ride safer and in even more comfort.

The Roadskin Paranoid X jeans are a great option for those looking for even more protection than the Taranis Elites, and it’s brilliant to see manufacturers working hard to give us riders so much choice when it comes to the levels of protection we want."

  • AAA Motorways and higher speeds
  • AA Touring
  • A City or Urban use 30mph and below
  • B No armour so not advised
  • C Waste of time

This testing is done by certified bodies both here and abroad under the standard EN 17092-2.

Caring for your motorcycle jeans

Keeping your motorcycle jeans in peak condition is important not just for how they look but for your safety – you might say, there’s a lot riding on it!

Once you’ve settled on a favourite pair, and worn them in, and they’ve become a faithful friend in pretty much every and any riding situation, you’ll want them to last forever.

We have all heard about the denim aficionados are reluctant to wash their jeans, but motorcycle jeans are different. Not washing them means that they will inevitably degrade over time, thanks for grime, grease and sweat.

We have produced a guide on keeping them clean and in tip top condition.
