Initially constructed for male riders, it is now refined and redesigned for female motorcyclists. Elegantly tailored for a woman's physique, this ladies' version of our popular male protective hoodie promises a stylish and comfortable fit.

The original Easyrider I was the first motorcycle armoured hoodie to be honoured with a CE protection approval after rigorous testing by the esteemed SATRA Technology Centre in the UK. This Roadskin® motorcycle hoodie is crafted with a robust outer layer of Maximite® and has ascertained an AA rating.

The enduring yet lightweight Maximite® Easyrider II Armoured Motorcycle Jacket for ladies is also enriched with Level 2 Back, Shoulder, and Elbow Armour at no extra charge. It comes with an integrated waterproof membrane and a breathable mesh liner. This makes it the ultimate CE-approved hoodie for female motorcyclists and a chic addition for year-round riding.

The upgraded Easyrider II boasts fresh features such as added protective shoulder ribbing and an internally lined storm cuff within the sleeve. This prevents the sleeve from shifting higher on the arm during an accident and blocks the wind from entering your sleeves. For storage convenience, it features two zipped pockets on the inside.

Ladies Armoured Motorcycle Hoodie Technical Details:

  • This armoured motorcycle hoodie has been awarded the latest CE Impact, Abrasion, and Tear certification at CE 17092 at AA.
  • The garment's outer seam strength has also been CE-certified at the same level, and its tear strength has been awarded the highest zone level of AA across the board.
  • It has obtained the EN388 CUT/SLASH certification at Level 2 and Puncture/Stab at Level 3.
  • Breathable mesh lining to encourage airflow.
  • Two internal pockets with zippers.
  • Waterproof membrane (*kindly note that the garment is not intended to be fully waterproof as moisture may seep through the zipper during heavy or continuous rainfall).
  • A removable hood is also available as a lightweight, hood-less jacket.
    Internally lined storm cuffs.
  • The hoodie's back has a zip connector that can be fastened to our Bronté armoured motorcycle ladies' leggings.

SATRA Motorcycle Hoodie Testing

Since 21st April 2018 all motorcycle clothing has to be certified as PPE or Personal Protective Equipment by law.

Clothing is classified to different levels AAA being the most protective down to C being the least. Loosely speaking you can say that they are most suited to the type of riding below but always go for the highest if possible.  

  • AAA Motorways and higher speeds
  • AA Touring
  • A City or Urban use 30mph and below
  • B No armour so not advised
  • C Waste of time

This testing is done by certified bodies both here (we use SATRA) and abroad under the standard EN 17092-2.
