Cut with a slim to straight leg in black denim, the stylish and lightweight triple-stitched Taranis Elite ladies jeans will take you anywhere you want to go – they’re smart enough for work, tough enough to protect your skin and stylish enough for the bar. The slightly outward tapered cut at the bottom of the leg has been designed so that they will fit comfortably over your motorcycle boots.

Motorcycle Jeans Sizing Guide
At Roadskin®, we believe in keeping it real. When we say a pair of our jeans has a 36-inch waist, it measures 36 inches around the waist, no sneaky surprises. If the inseam says 30 inches, you can bet it’s 30 inches long. Actual numbers. Actual measurements.
Finding Your Size - The Right Way to Do It
The best way to determine your correct Roadskin® Motorcycle Jean size is to grab and measure a pair of jeans you love. Yes, it takes a moment, but it’ll save you a lot of hassle later.

FAQs
What are CE ratings and why are they important?
Since 21st April 2018 all motorcycle clothing has to be certified as PPE or Personal Protective Equipment by law. Below is a brief summary of testing and classification for your information.
Clothing is classified to different levels AAA being the most protective down to C being the least. Loosely speaking you can say that they are most suited to the type of riding below but always go for the highest if possible.
- Class AAA Motorways and Higher speeds
- AA Touring
- A City or Urban use 30mph and below.
- B No armour so not advised
- C Waste of time
This testing is done by certified bodies both here and abroad under the standard EN 17092-2.

Caring for your motorcycle jeans
Keeping your motorcycle jeans in peak condition is important not just for how they look but for your safety – you might say, there’s a lot riding on it!
Once you’ve settled on a favourite pair, and worn them in, and they’ve become a faithful friend in pretty much every and any riding situation, you’ll want them to last forever.
We have all heard about the denim aficionados are reluctant to wash their jeans, but motorcycle jeans are different. Not washing them means that they will inevitably degrade over time, thanks for grime, grease and sweat.
We have produced a guide on keeping them clean and in tip top condition - view the full guide.
Motorcycle Jeans Sizing Advice
Numbers That Mislead
Have you ever wondered why you’re a size 38 in one brand, a 36 in another, and then somehow a 39 elsewhere? It’s frustrating, right? Those numbers are supposed to represent accurate measurements but often don’t add up.
Committed to Perfect Sizing
At Roadskin®, we believe in keeping it real. When we say a pair of our jeans has a 36-inch waist, it measures 36 inches around the waist, no sneaky surprises. If the inseam says 30 inches, you can bet it’s 30 inches long. Actual numbers. Actual measurements.
Production Variability
That said, denim can be a tricky beast. Different washes and how our protection layers interact during production can slightly affect sizing. We do everything possible to keep those variances small, but no one's perfect! Even with our commitment to accuracy, mistakes happen. We're only human. Mislabelling or production hiccups can sneak in occasionally. Thankfully it's rare, but if that happens, shout. We’ll do whatever it takes to ensure you have the correct size and fit.
Finding Your Size - The Right Way to Do It
The best way to determine your correct Roadskin® Motorcycle Jean size is to grab and measure a pair of jeans you love. Yes, it takes a moment, but it’ll save you a lot of hassle later.
Waist Measurements
Lay your jeans flat and pull the waistband out tight (but not stretched beyond its natural limit if there’s any give). Measure from one side of the inside waistband to the other, then double that number. Boom, that’s your waist size. If you find you are between sizes on the waist (i.e 35",37" etc), our advice would be to go DOWN a size. Our jeans have 5% Lycra® in them, so have a nice amount of stretch to accommodate that extra inch!
Inseam Measurements
Lay one leg flat and straight. Measure from the cuff edge up the inseam to where it meets the crotch seam. Remember to follow the seam curve to get the most accurate measurement.
Take the time to measure once, and ride in comfort forever. Got questions? Reach out, we’re here to help.
