How Nikwax Cotton Proof™ Works

Nikwax Cotton Proof™ is formulated explicitly for breathable cotton, polycotton, and canvas materials. It treats each fibre with a flexible, water-repellent barrier, allowing moisture vapour to pass through while maintaining breathability. This extends the life of your gear and ensures optimal performance in wet conditions.

Application Guidelines:

For best results, always clean items first using Nikwax Tech Wash® in a separate cycle. For equipment, use Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarWash®. Items do not need to dry before waterproofing.

Steps for Use:

1. Remove any detergent residue from the detergent dispenser.
2. Place up to 3 clean garments in the washing machine.
3. Add the following amounts of Cotton Proof™:

• 50ml for one item
• 100ml for two items
• 150ml for three items

4. Run a synthetic cycle at 30°C with a slow spin.

Drying: Air dry or tumble dry on low heat, if the care label permits.
